Audio-to-Text Annotation Specialist Role

We are seeking experienced English audio-to-text annotation specialists to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for converting English audio into accurate text transcripts with a focus on accuracy and context. Your task will involve listening to and transcribing American English audio into text, working with JSON files for structured annotations, and using annotation tools to label and organize transcriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • List and transcribe American English audio into text with high accuracy and context awareness.
  • Work with JSON structures for organized annotations.
  • Use industry-standard annotation tools for labeling and organizing transcriptions.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and context-awareness in annotations.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team for feedback and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 2–3+ years of proven experience in audio-to-text English annotation or transcription.
  • Strong command of American English including accent, idioms, and vocabulary.
  • Basic understanding of JSON structures required.
  • Prior experience with industry-standard annotation tools is preferred.
  • Availability of at least 20 hours per week with preference for 40 hours per week.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
