Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Wound Care Management: Deliver comprehensive wound management services, including the application of specialized dressings and advanced techniques for various wound types.
  • Patch Application: Apply medical patches with precision, adhering to prescribed protocols to ensure correct placement and patient comfort.
  • Operating Theater (OT) Assistance: Provide professional support in the Operating Theater, collaborating with surgical teams and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Nursing Care: Offer high-quality nursing care to patients, upholding best practices and clinical guidelines.
  • Patient Education & Support: Educate patients and their families on wound care, post-operative instructions, and disease management, focusing on Diabetic Foot Ulcers.
  • DFU Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU) for effective assessment, treatment, and preventive care.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, treatment plans, and progress reports, adhering to healthcare standards.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care and optimal outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in medical patch application.
  • Expertise in advanced dressing techniques.
  • Ability to provide OT assistance.
  • Strong foundational knowledge and practical skills in Nursing.
  • Specialized knowledge and experience in Wound Care Management.
  • In-depth knowledge about Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU).
  • Educational background: Graduation (BSc Nursing preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.
