Cloud Architect Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to spearhead our cloud native platform modernization journey.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise and platform architecture, with a strong focus on healthcare provider data pipelines and compliance-driven workflows.

This role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to drive the success of our cloud transformation project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical lead for cloud platform modernization
  • Define and evolve the cloud architecture to support healthcare provider data pipelines and compliance requirements
  • Develop and implement infrastructure automation using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Liaise with stakeholders to align cloud strategy with business objectives
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team

Requirements:

  • 12-15+ years of experience in enterprise and platform architecture, with a focus on cloud computing and healthcare data
  • Proven track record of designing, migrating, and modernizing cloud platforms using AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway)
  • Experience with Azure and GCP for hybrid/multi-cloud use cases
  • Expertise in data pipelines, API-driven integration, and workflow orchestration
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and FinOps principles

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD toolchains
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization and billing management
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as HIPAA/HITECH
