Cloud Solutions Strategist

We're seeking a seasoned Cloud Solutions Strategist to lead our cloud infrastructure and technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage cloud solutions across diverse platforms and business domains.

You'll play a strategic role in shaping our cloud roadmap, optimizing deployment pipelines, and ensuring infrastructure scalability, security, and reliability.

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures for hybrid environments.
  • Define the cloud strategy, frameworks, tools, and best practices aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Architect and manage deployment pipelines for seamless and automated application release.
  • Standardize release management, build automation, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Promote Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Design and manage cloud-native infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of cloud resources.
  • Optimize cost and performance of cloud services and applications.
  • Implement robust DevSecOps practices, integrating security into every stage of the development lifecycle.
  • Set up centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Act as the technical advisor to executive leadership on cloud strategy.
  • Coordinate across development, QA, IT, and security teams for smooth delivery and operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 12 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3 years as a Cloud Solutions Strategist or Lead.

- Deep understanding of cloud principles, Agile practices, and modern software development lifecycles.

- Hands-on experience with deployment tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.).

- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Strong command of scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).

- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response frameworks.

- Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure governance.
