Job Description

As a data science intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in exciting projects involving financial data analysis, investment research, and risk modeling. You will work on multiple mini-projects or take up a focused innovation-based research project.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Data Cleaning and Pre-processing: Conduct thorough data cleaning, wrangling, and pre-processing for financial datasets to ensure high-quality data for analysis.
  2. Financial Analysis: Assist investment teams in equity research, fixed income research, portfolio management, and economic analysis using statistical techniques.
  3. Big Data Analysis: Work with big data sources including financial reports, macroeconomic datasets, and alternative investment data to gain insights into market trends.
  4. Research Projects: Participate in research projects related to quantitative trading, financial derivatives, and portfolio optimization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with the ability to self-learn and work independently in a flexible environment.

  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Python, or R scripting
