Job Title : PAS-X Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and upgrade WERUM PAS-X on server-client architecture.
  • Administer and configure PAS-X system, preferably based on version 3.1.8, 3.2.1, or 3.3.0.
  • Configure service settings.
  • Synchronize users with LDAP/AD.
  • Manage printing.
  • Monitor System Console: Demon Control & Control Data.

Global Profiles, User Rights Management, Signature Definitions, System Console, Master Data:

  • Implement SAP-MES Interface.
  • Import and export data.
  • Exchange files using file exchange knowledge.
  • Document system lifecycle, including CS, TRM, Risk Assessments, IQ Test Scripts, and Change Controls.
  • Understand technical architecture of PASX, application servers, databases, interfaces, and JBoss server logs.
  • Integrate MES with Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 systems.
  • Create SQL scripts and understand database schema.
  • Troubleshoot PAS-X technical issues (weighing & dispensing scale issues, printer/scanner integration, KP information analysis).
  • Configure IT, install patches and hot fixes for customizations.
  • Resolve defects during qualification and provide hypercare support post-go-live.

Knowledge Area:

  • Install and troubleshoot WERUM PAS-X.
  • Upgrade WERUM PAS-X qualifications and versions.
  • Implement end-to-end experience with WERUM PAS-X.
  • Master GMBRs, PVL, PMBR's, Equipment Management, Material Flow, Weigh & Dispense, EBR, MBR, and Master Data.
  • Apply ISA95/S88 standards in application design and possess pharma manufacturing knowledge.
  • Develop good communication and analytical skills.
  • Understand ITIL concepts.
  • Apply Agile Project Management.
  • Master Werum PAS-X Specification, Execution, Compliance, and Performance Module.
  • Comply with GxP, GAMP, and 21 CFR Part 11.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support Werum PAS-X as an Engineer.
  • Mentor and build a team.
  • Act as a liaison with clients.

IT Skills:

  • Oracle DB, SQL queries, C-Sharp, Java, XML interfaces, UA, DA, HDA connectors, etc.
  • Manage users and create system profiles.

Generic Managerial Skills:

  • Develop technology competency.
  • Deliver solution-based offerings to prospect customers.
  • Develop delivery accelerators.
  • Design consulting templates and artifacts.
  • Collaborate with other domain-centric centers of excellence for solution-based offerings.
