Enterprise Risk Manager Job Opportunity

This is a challenging role that requires exceptional risk management skills and experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Risk Identification and Assessment:
  • Identify and evaluate operational risks across various departments to ensure the organization's assets are adequately protected.
  • Develop risk assessment frameworks and methodologies to inform decision-making.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Risk Mitigation:
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and action plans to minimize the likelihood and impact of operational risks.
  • Ensure the implementation of risk controls and compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain a strong risk posture.
  • Coordinate with different teams to address risk issues and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Monitor operational risk indicators and metrics to track the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present risk reports to senior management to inform decision-making and drive business strategy.
  • Manage regular risk meetings with senior stakeholders to review risk positions and update RCSAs and KRIs.
Third Party Risk Management:
  • Manage third-party relationships, including third-party contacts, external risk assessments, and issue resolution.
  • Identify potential risks associated with third-party interactions, such as cybersecurity vulnerabilities, non-compliance with regulations, operational inefficiencies, or financial instability.
  • Gather information security controls evidence from third parties to inform risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Policy Development:
  • Assist in the development and updating of operational risk policies and procedures to ensure they are aligned with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Ensure policies are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changes in the risk landscape.
System Testing:
  • Conduct UAT for ORM development and implementation to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Maintain and oversee business continuity management programs, including appropriate testing to ensure business operations can continue in the event of disruptions.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements to maintain a strong risk posture and avoid fines or penalties.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to stay informed about changing regulatory requirements and ensure timely submission of required reports.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's/master's degree in management, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a risk management role, preferably in an NBFC or financial services environment.

Skills:

  1. Experience in operational risk and knowledge of operational risk management framework.
  2. Risk Identification, Risk Monitoring, Risk Mitigation, Risk Reporting Techniques and systems.
  3. Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, PowerBI or other data visualization tools.
  5. Strong analytical aptitude and logical reasoning ability.
  6. Strong presentation and communication skills.
