Video Content Specialist

About the Role:

A highly skilled Video Content Specialist will oversee the end-to-end editing process for various video projects—marketing, social media, product demos, testimonials, and branded content. Collaboration with creative teams will be essential to deliver engaging, visually polished videos aligned with brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw footage into professional, high-quality videos for diverse platforms (YouTube, Instagram, website, ads)
  • Incorporate graphics, music, audio mixing, sound effects, transitions, captions, and color grading to enhance video impact
  • Collaborate regularly with creative leads and motion designers to meet project requirements and brand standards
  • Review and implement feedback on drafts to produce final cuts within deadlines
  • Organize and manage video assets and files for efficient workflow; export videos in required formats
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new editing techniques, and video technologies (including AI tools when relevant)
  • Maintain a consistent style and brand voice across all videos

Qualifications, Experience, and Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in Media, Communication, Animation, or related field (preferred)
  • 2-3 years' hands-on experience with professional video editing (portfolio required)
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe suites such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Sound knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with social media algorithm requirements and digital distribution standards is a plus
