PHP Developer Position

Our organization is seeking a talented and experienced PHP developer with expertise in the CodeIgniter framework to fill this key role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications while ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering dynamic web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter.
  • Write clean, well-structured code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and deploy web applications that meet our quality standards.
  2. Work closely with designers, developers, and testers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  3. Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and propose improvements as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience as a PHP developer.
  • Strong expertise in the CodeIgniter framework.
  • Solid understanding of PHP 7/8, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Knowledge of MVC architecture and OOP concepts.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization.
Education:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is required for this position.
