Network Engineer Position Overview

This is a critical role for an experienced Network Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internet service providers (ISPs) and vendors to resolve link-related issues.
  • Proactively detect and respond to incidents with clear escalation procedures and communication channels.
  • Provide regular reports on network performance, including bandwidth utilization, latency, uptime, and availability metrics, along with actionable insights for network optimization.

SD WAN Management:

  • Manage private links to ensure high-performance WAN connections between remote sites with redundancy and failover solutions.
  • Oversee SD-WAN solutions, enabling dynamic routing and bandwidth optimization across regions.
  • Minimize jitter, latency, and packet loss to ensure an optimal user experience for global collaboration tools.

Branch Network WAN Management:

  • Manage WAN links connecting all branches to ensure redundancy and high availability for office locations and retail outlets nationwide.
  • Ensure stable and secure network connections for all branch offices and locations with real-time monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Leverage L2 network troubleshooting, capacity trend/problem identification, patching, and configuration management.

LAN/Wi-Fi Network Management:

  • Full lifecycle management of LAN, including switch configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage the Wi-Fi network to ensure coverage, security, and performance for both office and remote locations.
  • Provide secure, segregated guest Wi-Fi access with appropriate bandwidth controls.

Audit Participation and Documentation:

  • Participate in all customer audits, including filling in required forms and collecting relevant data.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of requested audit materials.
  • Complete all audit questionnaires and related documents as required by the customer, ensuring thoroughness and compliance with the scope of the service provided.

Provide supporting evidence as needed.
