Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our ASIC Design Engineering team. As the ASIC Design Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our SOC development.

  • Develop and execute RTL design planning and execution, innovative design methodology development, u-Arch, IP design and SOC integration strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive silicon architecture and participate in interface activities with Architecture, SW/FW, Design, Modelling, Emulation, and Post-Silicon Validation teams.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to identify, select, and license key IP components.
  • Lead and support a team of ASIC engineers through strategic hiring, training, and guidance to drive on-time and on-budget product delivery.
  • Contribute to SOW analysis, review supporting documentation, and requirements sets that meet the needs of internal customers.
  • Support engineering teams to define, debug, implement, and deliver total solutions around purpose-built ASICs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 12 years of experience in ASIC/SoC RTL design, including a proven track record of first-pass success in ASIC development.
  • 3+ years of experience as a People Manager, with a clear understanding of complexities involved with various RTL design tools.
  • Experience working across multiple projects and adjusting priorities in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with complex subsystems like memory/LPDDR/HBM, cache, PCIE, or Network on chip.
Preferred Qualifications

Additionally, we are looking for candidates with:

  • In-depth knowledge of NICs, signal processing algorithms, neural networks, and machine learning concepts.
