Job Title: Transportation Facilitator

The Transportation Facilitator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of Amazon's transportation network.

  • Resolving potential issues that impact customer experience and business continuity
  • Working across two verticals - Inbound and Outbound operations
  • Ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of freight from vendors to Amazon fulfillment centers (FC) and from FCs to carrier hubs
  • Communicating with external customers, carriers, vendors, suppliers, and internal customers
  • Escalating problems or variance in information and data to relevant owners and teams
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ideating process improvements and driving them to conclusion
  • Providing real-time customer experience by working in a 24/7 operating environment
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written, as one may be required to create a narrative outlining weekly findings and present these findings in a review forum
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • 12-24 months of work experience in a similar role
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, pivot tables, vlookups, and other MS Office tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team in a very dynamic environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate with Bachelor's degree
  • Good logical skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
