Job Title: VAT SpecialistDescription:A skilled VAT specialist is required to provide expert support for VAT compliance, reporting, and client advisory services in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or finance, with a proven interest in tax and a desire to expand their expertise in the UAE VAT framework.Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns for clients, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • Assist with VAT registration and deregistration processes, maintaining up-to-date records of client VAT accounts.
  • Review client documentation for compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
  • Respond to client queries under senior tax staff guidance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security standards.
  • Stay updated on UAE VAT rules and practices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for financial data.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance VAT knowledge.
  • Perform duties as directed by the VAT Manager to support department goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Part-qualified or pursuing a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in VAT or tax-related roles.
  • UAE client experience or VAT knowledge required.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
