Job Title: Therapeutic Care Specialist

Job Description:

As a skilled Therapeutic Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their muscle tone, balance, coordination, gait, posture, and functional mobility.
  • Develop individualized physiotherapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals, collaborating with healthcare teams to set short-term and long-term rehabilitation objectives.
  • Implement evidence-based neuro physiotherapy techniques, such as NDT (Neurodevelopmental Therapy), PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), Bobath, motor relearning programs, and functional electrical stimulation.
  • Monitor patient progress regularly and update treatment plans accordingly, documenting therapy sessions, assessments, and improvements in patients' files.
  • Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on exercises, posture correction, transfers, fall prevention, and home exercise programs, promoting psychological well-being and improving patient compliance.
  • Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Recommend and train patients on the use of assistive devices, orthoses, mobility aids, wheelchairs, and other supportive equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential: A degree in Physiotherapy or a related field, proven experience working with patients with neurological conditions, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
