As a Train Architect, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative transportation systems. Our team is dedicated to empowering customers with hard-working solutions that make life easier and more enjoyable for people on the move.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive technical concept for train IT architecture, considering standard components, product strategies, and total cost aspects.
  • Clarify architectural requirements and cross-systems, technical interfaces.
  • Conceptualize architectures for the electrical part, including drive, brake, auxiliary, and underfloor control cabinet, as well as main power.
  • Review relevant subsystem concepts and provide technical support for projects.
  • Collaborate with specialist groups and coordinate technical concepts and requirements.
  • Standardize architectures and adapt platforms as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical education in TCMS/Train IT/control engineering or similar fields.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in a relevant professional group or activity.
  • Team leadership experience desired.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German language an advantage.
  • Experience with drive and component design.
  • Interest in requirements and systems engineering.
  • Good understanding of standards such as IEC 50128, IEC 61131, IEC 61375, etc.
