Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Developer to lead our team in building scalable, high-performance services using Node.js. You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing APIs, microservices, and integrations.

  • Drive backend architecture and development using Node.js, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Work closely with front-end developers to define interfaces, data contracts, and integrate backend/front-end systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure code quality, tests, code reviews, best practices, and documentation.
  • Participate in architectural decisions, trade-offs, and mentor junior team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Deep expertise in Node.js, Express, and building and maintaining backend services in production.
  • Strong experience with MongoDB: schema design, indexing, querying, scaling, and performance optimization.
  • Comfortable working with front-end frameworks like React (with Vite) and understanding how backend and frontend interact.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, including setting up environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring, security, and scalability.
  • Experience with microservices, distributed systems, handling high traffic, and fault tolerance.
