Job Summary

We're looking for a creative and energetic individual to support our Content Manager and Senior Leadership in scaling our humor division. As a Humor Content Specialist, you'll be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing humorous and engaging content tailored for US audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, creating, and publishing humorous and engaging content tailored for US audiences.
  • Write and edit comedy articles, jokes, stories, satirical news pieces, memes, and witty commentaries related to TV shows, movies, and other humorous content.
  • Collaborate with humor writers, editors, and SEO experts to ensure content is timely, funny, and impactful.
  • Engage with audiences through humorous responses, comments, and posts on various platforms to build a loyal fanbase.
  • Implement strategies to increase audience interaction and social shares, making content go viral.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in comedy, pop culture, and viral content, especially those that resonate with US audiences.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure the relevance and comedic accuracy of content.
  • Use analytics tools to track content performance, provide insights, and recommend ways to optimize humor content.
Requirements
  • Deep passion for comedy, satire, and the ability to understand US humor sensibilities.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a knack for delivering humor that resonates.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and how to optimize humorous content for search.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a sense of humor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
