Remote Data Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled data analyst to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and English comprehension skills, with the ability to read, summarize, and break down large content into smaller logical blocks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research online, validating claims made in the content through online research, and working with Large Language Models (LLMs) to solve puzzles. Your role is critical in helping fine-tune and improve LLMs, making you an expert on how to leverage AI to be a better analyst.

About the Role

Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing and creating scenarios to improve LLM models. You'll provide correct answers and explanations to help models learn from their mistakes. Examples of tasks include:

  • Analyzing sales distribution by month across locations to determine which location has grown the most.
  • Determining the neighborhoods a postman delivers to on the second day, given certain rules and initial delivery information.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High level of reading and writing comprehension in English.
  • Good research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
  • Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Availability for up to 40 hours/week during US business hours.
  • A desktop/laptop setup with a good internet connection.
Preferred Qualifications

While not necessary, it's beneficial to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or related field.
  • Professional writing experience in roles such as business analyst, research analyst, copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, or translator.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
