Cloud Java Developer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of skilled developers in building and maintaining scalable, efficient, and secure cloud-based applications using Java and Azure.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java developer with strong hands-on experience in building and maintaining enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud-native application development and migration of on-prem applications to Azure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java applications and microservices, as well as integrating them with Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.

In addition, the candidate will work closely with the DevOps team to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.

The role also involves collaborating with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and define application requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Java development, with strong hands-on experience in building and maintaining enterprise-level applications.
  • 2+ years of experience in developing applications using Azure cloud platform.
  • Experience with cloud-native application development and migration of on-prem applications to Azure.
Preferred Skills

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying Java applications on Azure.
  • Familiarity with Spring Cloud and Spring Security.
