Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager Taxation to oversee all compliance and taxation-related activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, comprehensive knowledge of tax laws, and the ability to manage and mentor a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct GST Audits & Assessments and ensure regular compliance.
  • Ensure timely submission of GST compliance filings.
  • Manage TDS/TCS compliances.
  • Oversee allied compliances such as PF Professional Tax (PTAX) ESIC and Shop Establishment Act.
  • Handle Income Tax Return compliances.
  • Ensure timely filing of 15CA/CB forms.
  • Continuously update knowledge on tax laws and implement internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to changing tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits, including preparing and submitting necessary documentation.
  • Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Provide guidance on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to integrate tax planning into the overall financial strategy.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent in MS EXCEL.
  • Business development, Lead Generation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Handled GST Audit in individual capacity.
