Key Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to play a key role in our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Big Data technologies, including pySpark, Hadoop, and Hive.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop Efficient Data Processing Pipelines
    • Design and develop efficient ETL pipelines as per business requirements, following development standards and best practices.
  • Perform Integration Testing and Validation
    • Perform integration testing of different created pipelines in cloud environments.
  • Provide Estimates and Participate in Code Reviews
    • Provide estimates for development, testing, and deployments on different environments.
    • Participate in code peer reviews to ensure applications comply with best practices.
  • Develop Scalable Data Solutions
    • Develops and maintains scalable data solutions to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Business Teams
    • Collaborates with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility, and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
  • Work Closely with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Works closely with a team of frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Python Programming
  • Knowledge of SQL and Database Management Systems
  • Experience with Cloud-based Services
  • Familiarity with Pyspark and Big Data Technologies
