Leadership Position Overview:

The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and executing financial statement audits, guiding assigned staff in their tasks, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

About the Role:

  • Plan, risk assess, test, and complete engagements to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Act as lead for medium and complex engagements requiring strategic planning and execution.
  • Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to ensure timely completion and meet client requirements.
  • Mentor, train, and supervise junior level staff on technical issues to enhance skill sets and professional growth.
  • Communicate with Senior Manager/Directors on work status and client issues that arise to maintain open lines of communication.
  • Comply with firm/Audit department policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Maintain Client Relationship by focusing on quality and service excellence to build trust and loyalty.
  • Ensure proper documentation and review of engagements to maintain accuracy and transparency.
  • Design audit approaches, supervise audit teams, and attend mandatory technical training sessions to stay updated on industry trends.
  • Prepare and review final reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements for Successful Candidate:

  • Inter-CA/ACCA/CPA/CA with 5-7 years of relevant experience in auditing and finance.
  • Team player with a proactive and result-oriented approach to achieving goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and International standards of Auditing (ISA) to ensure compliance and adherence.
  • Ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office to analyze data and communicate effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong grasp of business and technical issues and industry trends to provide expert advice and guidance.
