Technical Leadership Role

This is a key position that requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive product direction through technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead software development teams by example, writing scalable, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Provide technical guidance, making informed architectural decisions and solving complex engineering problems.
  • Champion engineering excellence through agile development, best practices, and timely releases of high-quality software.
  • Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing team, cultivating a collaborative, innovative, and high-trust culture.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of full-stack web development and backend systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MERN stack technologies.
  • Proficiency in technologies like Redis, Kafka/Pub/Sub, MySQL, and job schedulers.
  • Experience in architecting and developing cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of delivering robust and scalable systems under tight timelines.
  • Adaptable to different software development methodologies and tools.
  • Passion for clean code, efficient processes, and product excellence.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in OOP, system design, concurrency, and CS fundamentals.

Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Experience building and operating large-scale backend systems with high reliability and performance.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, preferable 1+ years in a lead or mentorship role.
  • Actively involved in coding, reviews, and system design discussions.

Ownership and Mindset:

  • Proactive and self-driven with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and align engineering efforts with business goals.
