We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to play a critical role in designing foundations that power the future of renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize wind turbine generator (WTG) foundations using various techniques including gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, ribbed beam, shallow mat, etc.
  • Perform load and stress calculations to ensure structural integrity, considering factors such as gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue.
  • Select cost-effective, sustainable construction materials aligned with international standards.
  • Prepare and review design documents, including structural design basis reports, bills of quantities, drawings, and calculation packages.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, electrical, and civil experts to deliver holistic project designs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant international standards, including BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, EUROCODE, and others.
  • Support certification processes with external consultants and agencies.
  • Drive continuous improvement while balancing safety, quality, and cost optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization preferred).
  • Master's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering (Advanced Structural Analysis preferred).
  • 8-12 years of experience in the Power & Utilities/Renewable Energy sector with proven WTG foundation design expertise.
  • Technical skills: proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • Strong knowledge in geotechnical risk assessment, seismic hazard analysis, hydrological risk assessment.
  • Expertise in wind turbine foundation design.
