About the Role

The Manager Engineering Operations is responsible for maintaining release engineering and cloud control planes.

This role involves embracing a software-driven approach to operations, managing infrastructure as code, leveraging deployment pipelines, with a focus on automation, observability, and resiliency.

  • Lead a team of Engineers, following agile methodologies.
  • Manage jira service desk queues, completing work and escalating work to other teams.
  • Provide technical consultation to, and collaborate with product delivery teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing requirements gathering and task prioritization.
  • Collaborating with Engineers and Software Delivery teams to define and implement software deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Ensuring platforms are highly available, resilient, fault-tolerant, performant, and observable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership experience in software development.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, and automation tools.
  • Strong technical skills in software development, cloud computing, and DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
