Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions in cloud environments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions in cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Lead the automation of deployment processes, using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, to ensure efficient continuous integration and delivery.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new services and features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, applying problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address potential issues.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, enhancing our organization's cloud infrastructure practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, including design, automation, and management.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on cloud environments. Azure stack experience is necessary.
  • Tech Skills:
  • Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Extensive experience with the Azure cloud stack and its services.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell/Python for scripting and automation.
  • Experience with JSON manipulation for policy and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring junior developers.
