Structural Engineer

This role involves providing structural design and engineering inputs for Social Infrastructure DPR projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with experience in both government and donor-funded assignments.

They should also have knowledge of IS codes, IRC standards, and international guidelines, as well as proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD.

Key responsibilities will include reviewing and finalizing structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates, conducting structural analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions.

They will also be responsible for preparing design basis reports, structural BOQs, and cost estimates, as well as assessing foundation design, load calculations, earthquake-resistant design, and durability aspects.

Additional skills and competencies required for this position include strong documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A prior experience in DPR preparation for social infrastructure projects would be highly desirable.
