Project Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our retail interior projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing turnkey retail interior projects, including furniture and fittings, with an ability to understand and interpret CAD drawings.

The successful candidate will oversee project execution, ensuring that all work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This includes:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Managing and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects, including design, procurement, installation, and handover.
  • Coordination: Liaising with internal teams, clients, contractors, suppliers, and designers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Budget Management: Developing, managing, and tracking project budgets and timelines. Ensuring projects are completed within agreed financial and time constraints.
  • CAD Drawings: Interpreting and reviewing CAD drawings, layouts, and design plans to ensure alignment with client requirements and feasibility for implementation.
  • Quality Control: Monitoring the quality of materials, finishes, and installations, ensuring that all work complies with specifications and meets client expectations.
  • Vendor Management: Sourcing and managing suppliers for furniture, fixtures, and fittings. Ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks during project execution and implementing mitigation plans.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of project progress, budgets, and issues, providing regular updates to clients and senior management.
  • Client Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Addressing client concerns, providing regular updates, and managing expectations.

Key Requirements:

Experience

A minimum of 4 years of project management experience, specifically in the retail interior design and fit-out sector.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel for project tracking, budgeting, and reporting. Familiarity with CAD software and ability to understand and review technical drawings and plans. Experience with turnkey retail interior projects, including furniture and fittings.

Personal Qualities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain professional relationships. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. Client-focused approach, with the ability to manage client expectations and deliver high-quality results.
