Business Intelligence Analyst

 

  • Design and implement data pipelines using ETL concepts to create robust and efficient data management systems.
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies, ensuring high-quality data practices across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop personalized data solutions using Row Level Security.
  • Build and optimize dashboards, reports, and visualizations using various chart types, tables, and gauges, applying formatting and calculated fields.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, architecture, and analytics.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Create datasets from various sources such as MongoDB, Flat files, AWS S3, Athena, and Redshift connector.
  • Assign Personalized Data Permission (Row Level Security) based on user requirements.
  • Optimize/Performance Tuning of data pipelines and queries.
  • Develop Calculated Fields (Beast Mode) like WTD, MTD, QTD, and YTD.
  • Handle KPIs and metrics for data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement data quality checks and ensure data accuracy.
  • Conduct content migration/promotion activities.
  • Apply page filters, global date filters, and formatting.
  • Develop Apps, Dashboards, and apply drill-up/down/thru functionality.
  • Manage metadata and user management.
  • Ensure compliance with data security standards.

 

Requirements:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or related field.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL, MongoDB, Redshift, AWS Glue & Athena, Confluence.
  • Experience with data governance, metadata, and user management.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
