We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architecture and Design Engineer to join our team at Eram Talent. As a leading Talent Acquisition Consultancy, we specialize in providing recruitment solutions for various industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network infrastructure solutions for our clients. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge network designs that meet client needs and industry best practices.

This role would be onsite at Saudi Arabia, offering an attractive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.

Job Description
  • Leading and managing people and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Interfaces with business demand and translates business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Consolidates technical requirements and produces end-to-end solution design, detailed BOQ's and costing for sector enablement and office fitout projects (includes passive network, active network, cybersecurity, datacentre, and hosting).
  • Responsible for the design and delivery of Edge network - LAN, Datacentre and collaboration, features and solutions.
  • Produces and Maintains High-Level and Low-Level design documentation.
  • Manages the capacity of the running Edge network - LAN, Datacentre and collaboration.
  • Drives and manages optimizations and continuous service improvements related to the Office LAN and collaboration network.
  • Technical authority for Edge network - LAN, Datacentre and collaboration.
  • Establishes and fosters key relationships with business and project stakeholders across the business sectors.
  • Develops regular reporting for both operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Manages Office LAN network CAPEX.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree qualification in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or an IT-related discipline.
  • CCIE, JNCIE, HNCIE expert level industry certification (preferred) or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification (preferred).
  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in Network solutions architecture, design or implementation lead position in a large enterprise, Service Provider, or Integrator.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in managing and delivering telecommunication network projects and leading implementation teams.
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience leading teams and managing people.
  • Deep knowledge of network technologies and protocols such as VOIP, Streaming, Cybersecurity standards, private Cloud, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, Spanning Tree, SDN (SDACCESS SDWAN), ACI, Load Balancers.
  • Good knowledge of security network systems (Firewalls, Proxies, Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion detection systems).
  • Ability to work without minimal supervision. Hands-on experience in designing configuring and operating Cisco, Huawei or Juniper network switches, routers.
  • Ability to coach, mentor and manage staff and to achieve business outcomes.
  • Experience managing geographically diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to translate technical terms into business processes to deliver effective change.
