Lead Design & Engineering Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our railway signalling and axle counter solutions.

The role demands deep technical expertise in fail-safe signalling products, embedded systems, and RAMS analysis, combined with the ability to engage with stakeholders across Indian Railways and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide design & engineering support for railway axle counter solutions, ensuring compliance with safety and signalling standards.
  • Lead V&V activities including First Time Right (FTR) checks to ensure quality and fail-safe product performance.
  • Liaise with RDSO and SAG officers to address design, compliance, and product approval requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of product failures, propose corrective actions, and drive engineering improvements.
  • Manage engineering documentation, design reports, and ensure compliance with EN, IEC, IS standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for project management, design support, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Education/Experience: B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE) or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years' experience in Railway Signalling domain.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fail-safe signalling product design (HW/SW) and embedded systems.
  • Hands-on understanding of EN, IEC, IS standards and railway signalling concepts.
  • Expertise in RAMS methodologies including MTBF, RBD, FTA, and reliability calculations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
