Linux Server Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Linux server administrator to manage our servers.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in server management administration, with a strong background in Linux operating systems and proficiency in hypervisor operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and decommission servers (physical/VM)
  • Administer Linux OS, including LVM, DNS, LDAP, and IPTables
  • Develop troubleshooting skills for server down situations
  • Manage physical servers and have a basic knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. chef, bash, Perl)
  • Experience in public cloud landscapes (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable

Preferred skills include knowledge/experience in using GitHub, Jira, Prometheus on docker setup, ELK stack, central infrastructure services, and Nagios repository management.

Able to provide knowledge and support for system administration tasks.
