Technical Compliance Specialist

Job Description

The role involves precise planning and execution of certification and compliance activities. This includes studying and implementing various national and international regulations with respect to certification and compliance requirements.

The candidate will closely interact and collaborate with various departments, including product management, verification and validation, engineering and electronics, software development, design and development, prototype production, certification bodies, and external test laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing certification and compliance strategies
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to obtain an in-depth understanding of products and test requirements
  • Generating requirement proposals and execution plans along with budgetary and timeline requirements
  • Ensuring correct technical documentation, test executions, and audits for expeditious releases
  • Effective communication and collaboration with external stakeholders, including certification bodies, DGCA, QCI, CEMILAC, DFI, BIS, etc.
  • Timely study of regulatory drafts and feedbacks in the interest of IdeaForge
  • Creation and maintenance of certification roadmaps in cooperation with product management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in technical compliance, with at least 5 years in UAS industry
  • Exceptional understanding and hands-on experience working with regulatory frameworks – national/international
  • Proven experience with product testing, process analysis, and certification activities
