Research Assistant Position

RISO Intelligence is a data-driven organization that crafts bespoke solutions for clients.

We seek an analytical individual to join our team as an Analyst. This role offers excellent exposure to diverse development sector projects including research, monitoring & evaluation, digital solutions, and policy analysis across domains like education, health, environment, and rural development.

  • Conduct primary and secondary research for baseline-endline studies, support policy analysis and research publication development, assist in data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis, prepare research briefs and summary reports, support needs assessment studies and impact evaluations.
  • Assist in survey design and data collection tool development, help maintain project databases and documentation, create IEC materials including booklets, toolkits, and educational content, develop scripts for awareness content, document success stories and case studies, create engaging social media content, support development of visual content and infographics.
  • Provide research support to senior team members, assist in client presentation preparation, support field survey coordination and data collection, help in project documentation and reporting.
Educational Requirements
  • Masters degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, MSW, MBA (Rural Management) or related field.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis), strong analytical and quantitative skills, good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi/Odia, clear understanding and fluency in Odia language (reading/writing/speaking).
