Electronics Engineer Job Description

The position of Electronics Engineer at Honeywell involves working as a key member of the electronics design team. As an integral part, you will assist the project leader in managing requirements, designing and analyzing electronics circuits, implementing and testing aerospace electronics products and printed circuit cards.

Critical Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluating and selecting electronics components, designing analog and digital circuits, and creating schematic diagrams
  • Analyzing circuits for tolerance, power, thermal, and worst-case scenarios
  • Establishing layout guidelines and collaborating with layout engineers for implementation
  • Performing board bring-up and testing
  • Conducting environmental testing
  • Maintaining process, quality, and program compliance

You will support technical decisions on design and implementation during product hardware development, participate in high-level and low-level design reviews, and analyze problems to develop alternative solutions.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • 7-8 years of experience in electronics hardware involving digital, microprocessor circuits fundamentals, power, and EMI circuits
  • Experience in electrical design with High-Speed Digital or Mixed Signal Design

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electronics hardware, including digital and microprocessor circuits, as well as practical experience in circuit analysis and troubleshooting. They should also be able to simplify circuits and explain underlying concepts clearly and provide technical guidance and leadership at project context.

Additional Skills:

  • Design experience complying with EMI/EMC in power electronics applications
  • Good understanding of Grounding and Shielding techniques
  • Thorough knowledge of board design, EMI Filter design, Lightning Analysis, and Component selection
