Financial Leadership Role:

Job Description
  • Preparation and management of monthly budgets to ensure financial stability.
  • Conducting thorough investigations into discrepancies and providing actionable recommendations for improved reporting.
  • Effective liaison with internal teams to maintain consistency in global operations reporting.
  • Analysis and control of expenditure, focusing on cost optimization across departments.
  • Accountable for strategic financial planning, modeling, and analysis.
  • Collaboration within the Management Accounts team to develop 'what-if' scenarios, profitability, and margin analysis; monitoring marketing strategy performance and promotional activity; building strong cross-functional relationships and creating ad-hoc analysis for senior non-finance colleagues; and assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contribute to continuous process improvement and design excellence.

2. Develop knowledge and understanding of business unit strategies to focus audit work on high-risk areas, including implementation of change programs.

3. Manage internal and statutory audits. Drive the IFC RCM for the division.

4. Develop expertise in specific business, industry, technical, and environmental risks to focus work on highest risks. Challenge whether identified issues genuinely represent a risk to the Group delivering its strategy.

5. Support business management in understanding and accepting necessary corrective actions.

6. Ensure timely and accurate completion of budgeting and forecasting processes.

7. Provide input to wider finance challenges and add value to the evolving business.

8. Implementation and management of internal controls and processes, requiring review and improvement where necessary, including potential restructuring.
