Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding professionally to customer calls and queries, and selling, up-selling, and cross-selling Qatar Airways products and services.
  • Receiving in-bound calls from customers to provide information and updates as required.
  • Handling multi-products and services, and escalating queries to senior Contact Centre staff when necessary.
  • Creating new reservations and making changes to existing reservations, and providing quotes on correct fares and rules of carriage issuance and re-issuance of tickets.
  • Processing refunds.

Requirements

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • A high school qualification with 2 years of relevant experience in airline reservation and ticketing, airport check-ins, and contact/call centre.
  • Relevant experience in GDS System (Amadeus) is essential, and having IATA or Airline Basic Tariff course certification can be considered.
  • Computer literacy, ideally with previous knowledge of contact centre/reservation and ticketing systems.
  • Good typing skills.

Communication Skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Display active listening skills.
  • Efficient in managing calls from a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong comprehension and articulation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Interactive, customer service-oriented with a warm, cheerful, and expressive personality.
  • Customer-focused and always drives customer satisfaction when responding to customer enquiries and calls.
  • Polite, reliable, knowledgeable, and able to adapt to changing requirements.
