DevOps Engineer Position

At a leading management consulting firm, we are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to spearhead the development of scalable and secure cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads the design, implementation, and deployment of cloud infrastructure using public cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP, including networking, IAM, compute, and storage.
  • Manages on-premise systems, including VMware infrastructure, Linux environments, and shell scripting, ensuring seamless integration with cloud services.
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker), CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and version control (Git).
  • Develops automation scripts using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and has solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Provides strong Linux administration support for RHEL/CentOS environments and ensures system monitoring, logging, and tracing are implemented effectively.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of industry experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and has experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting and scaling production systems, participating in on-call rotations, and implementing disaster recovery plans.
