Finance and Insurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Insurance Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical skills and industry knowledge in finance and insurance systems, cash management, and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute comprehensive test cases for finance-specific processes, including penny testing, subledger reconciliation, bank statement matching, and treasury payments.
  • Test integrations between policy administration systems, claims systems, and the finance subledger to ensure seamless end-to-end process accuracy.
  • Validate financial postings under IFRS/UK GAAP standards and confirm that accounting rules are correctly applied for premiums, claims, and reinsurance.
  • Perform rigorous data validation for high-volume insurance transactions and ensure data integrity across multiple source systems.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance/ERP testing within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Hands-on expertise with penny testing, reconciliations, and cash management workflows.
  • Strong understanding of insurance finance flows: premiums, claims, reinsurance, and bordereaux processing.
