We are seeking a seasoned API Tester to join our team. As a key member of the MuleSoft testing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality and reliability of our APIs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing detailed test strategies, plans, and scenarios for MuleSoft APIs
  • Performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of MuleSoft APIs
  • Validating RESTful and SOAP-based APIs, checking response formats, headers, status codes, and business logic

In addition to your technical skills, we value collaboration and communication as essential qualities for this role. You will work closely with developers, architects, and business analysts to understand API specifications and business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs, proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, ReadyAPI), and knowledge of MuleSoft platform components and architecture. Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data validation is also required.

Beyond technical expertise, we seek individuals who can actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

A successful candidate would possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years in API testing, with 3+ years in MuleSoft API testing
  • Strong hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs
  • Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, ReadyAPI)
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft platform components and architecture
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data validation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Please note that certifications in MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Certified Integration/Platform Specialist, ISTQB Certification, experience in DevOps pipelines and API automation, exposure to performance/load testing with JMeter or ReadyAPI, and good understanding of SAP order fulfilment processes are preferred but not mandatory.
