Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to monitor and administer our AWS cloud infrastructure, develop and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, and oversee automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.

This role involves analyzing system performance, identifying trends, and implementing improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency. You will also be responsible for implementing security best practices and compliance standards to protect our cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. They should also have proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Okta.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Key Tools and Technologies:
  • AWS Cloud Services: EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch.
  • Backup Solutions: Veeam, AWS Snapshots, Commvault, Backup Exec.
  • Monitoring Platforms: Datadog, Orion, Nagios, WhatsUp Gold.
  • SaaS Platforms: Okta, AWS Workspaces.
  • Automation Tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
