Data Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative data solutions.

  • Job Description:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts. They will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.

  • The Data Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions. This includes creating and managing jobs, dataflows, and triggers in Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Pipelines.

  • Additionally, the candidate will develop and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouses and data lakes. They will work with star schema, snowflake schema, and other data modeling techniques to optimize data for analytics and reporting.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will have 4+ years of proven experience with key Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Databricks. They will also have strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Spark (PySpark, Scala).

  • Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling (dimensional modeling, etc.), and ETL/ELT concepts is essential. Experience with version control systems like Git and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices using Azure DevOps is also required.
