Brickwork Ratings, a leading credit rating agency in India, is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory and Legal Affairs Manager to join its team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in regulatory compliance and legal affairs in the financial services industry, particularly in credit rating agencies, banks, and NBFCs.
About the Role
The Regulatory and Legal Affairs Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEBI, RBI, and NSDL. This includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, as well as maintaining documentary evidence of compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting and advising the company on regulatory requirements.
- Liaising with regulators and assisting the CCO in gap analysis on new regulatory guidelines.
- Preparing periodical and ad-hoc regulatory reports sought by SEBI, RBI, and other regulatory bodies.
- Ensuring compliance of staff with company policies.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in regulatory compliance and legal domain in financial services institutions.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including SEBI, RBI, and NSDL.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and report presentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Law, with a Post-Graduation in Law or any other domain being preferred.
