As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for the valuation of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets. This encompasses analyzing historical financial and operating results of target companies to explain business trends and identify risks.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Valuation Expertise: valuing businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for various accounting standards and regulatory purposes.
- Financial Modeling: analyzing historical financial and operating results of target companies to explain business trends and identify risks.
- Strategy Development: constructing and reviewing valuation and other financial models.
- Client Solutions: assisting in the design and preparation of valuation reports and other client deliverables.
You will also be responsible for presenting analyses and conclusions to internal management and external clients, as well as working closely with colleagues to direct engagement activity and provide review and mentorship as needed.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated experience performing work related to fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and/or goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment.
- A fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and experience in traditional valuation methods such as discounted cash flow method, guideline public company method, and guidance transaction method.
