Design Engineer for Mechanical Engines and Electrical Powertrain Systems

Role Summary:

This role involves the design of mechanical engines, transmission systems, and electrical powertrain systems. The successful candidate will work within a team to provide technical project leadership and manage a technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading technical projects and managing teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Developing and maintaining quality standards within the organization.
  • Applying basic engineering delivery tools such as product specification, design review, and DFMEA.
  • Utilizing PLM data management systems and TeamCentre knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Masters Engineering Degree with ICE Transmission Specialization.
  • Solid internal combustion engine background and experience in transmission development.
  • Expertise in design analysis tools including Catia and ANSYS.
  • Understanding of FEA processes and applications.
  • Proven record of substantial work on gasoline and 2-wheeler engines and vehicles.
  • Experience working on race product preparation.
  • Familiar with PLM and PDM systems.
  • High project planning and project management experience.
