About the Position:

We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team as a Finance Manager.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, annual financial reporting, and audit coordination. They will also be responsible for collaborating with auditors and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, provide insightful recommendations, prepare and update financial forecasts, monitor budget performance, and conduct variance analysis on a regular basis.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct thorough financial analysis, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly and quarterly financial reports, oversee the preparation of management reports, and develop performance tracking tools.
  • Annual Financial Planning & Reporting: Prepare annual financial statements, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, collaborate with external auditors, and ensure timely filing of statutory returns.
  • Audit Coordination: Manage and coordinate the external audit process, work closely with auditors to provide required information and documentation, ensure the financial statements comply with accounting standards and local regulations, and address and resolve any audit issues.
  • Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow forecasting, ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and strategic needs, manage working capital, optimize the balance between receivables, payables, and inventory, and monitor financial risks.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience post qualification in finance or accounting, strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, proven track record in managing the annual financial reporting process, and liaising with auditors.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting tools, strong proficiency in financial analysis, variance analysis, and management reporting, proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems, experience in managing external audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
