We are seeking an experienced Sports News Editor to join our editorial team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports, have a good understanding of American culture and the fundamentals of the English language. They should also be quick at fact-checking, flexible for event coverage, and have leadership qualities.

  • Actively edit and publish 20-25 articles daily.
  • Proofread articles to ensure no grammatical or factual errors remain.
  • Research to verify facts and eliminate incorrect claims.
  • Publish articles in a timely fashion for priority news-based articles.
  • Mentor and guide allocated writers to refine their performance.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of sport division writers.

The successful candidate will possess excellent editing skills, strong research abilities, and great communication skills. They will also have experience in proofreading, content editing, and possibly leading a team of writers.
