Job Title: Financial Operations Lead

Job Description:

The role of the Financial Operations Lead is to oversee and manage all financial operations within the organization. This includes managing financial reporting, coordinating the month-end closing process, and ensuring compliance with legal policies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing financial reporting for India
  • Leading and coordinating the month-end closing process in GL, rolling forecasts, cash flow management, and annual budget
  • Reviewing monthly P&L and balance sheet schedules and explaining variances
  • Providing business partnering support in terms of financial planning and analysis, monitoring of business results, managing and controlling OPEX budget, customer profitability analysis, etc.
  • Responsible for working capital management including AR collection and payment processing and controls
  • Reviewing monthly payroll and its accounting in GL
  • Checking and signing all journal vouchers prepared by Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
  • Ensuring accounting policies and procedures comply with legal policies
  • Reviewing, implementing, and maintaining an effective and robust internal controls system and ensuring adherence to approval processes
  • Developing and delivering ad hoc reports for business needs
  • Managing internal and external audit requirements, as well as ensuring compliance with tax laws
  • Liasing with external agents to ensure timely local statutory reporting and relevant tax reporting
  • Adhoc financial projects requested
  • Treasury management
  • Representing the Finance Department in interactions with employees and external individuals & organizations

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification CA / CPA / CWA
  • At least 4-5 years relevant experience in finance department of a large company
  • Experience in leading a team and being a good team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good interpersonal skills and being a good team leader
  • Experience in company process improvements
  • Advanced Excel skills
