System Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced system leader to oversee the smooth functioning and performance of banking applications, ensuring they meet regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Drive incident, problem, and change management processes to minimize downtime and maintain service level agreements.
  • Oversee database administration tasks including upgrades, patch management, performance tuning, and compliance checks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end issue resolution and ensure seamless communication among stakeholders.
  • Manage data migrations, archival systems, and audit-ready solutions in accordance with RBI and internal regulations.
  • Ensure application readiness during fiscal closing and regulatory reporting without any downtime or disruptions.
  • Lead disaster recovery drills, high-availability planning initiatives, and performance optimization efforts.
  • Mentor and guide support engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability within the team.
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners for application upgrades, integrations, and support services.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in Application & Production Support for mission-critical banking applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Core Banking Systems (Flexcube/Finacle) and Digital Banking Platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Database Administration (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery, Performance Tuning, and Infrastructure Planning.
  • Familiarity with Regulatory Compliance (RBI guidelines, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, Oracle Certified Professional, or ITIL are preferred but not essential.

Preferred candidates will have at least 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in Production/Application Support and hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (preferably Electronics, Computer Science, or related).
