Decision Scientist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analytics professional with expertise in Japanese to serve as a cultural liaison between our IT/analytics teams and business stakeholders in Japan.

  • The successful candidate will act as a bridge, communicating requirements, insights, and recommendations in both Japanese and English to foster seamless collaboration.
  • They will translate complex business problems into actionable analytical frameworks, identifying opportunities for data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Decision Scientist will design and implement analytics solutions that align with our strategic business objectives.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in business analytics, data science, or consulting roles is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) and professional fluency in English (verbal & written) are essential.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or equivalent is a must.
